Hello, My name is Aaron and I am a wolf.  I have a family, which is somewhat like yours, but my family is known as a pack.  Wolf pups are born in dens.    It is a protective place like a large hole in the ground.
Wolf pups are known as cubs.   My mom and dad are the leaders or alpha   members of the pack.  My older brother is second in command of the pack he is called the beta wolf. 
Wolf packs travel many miles in order to find food.  One way we communicate over long distances is to howl so the others will know where we are.  A bark is also used in close ranges to warn each other when danger is near. My bark is not like a dogs bark. I don't go woof woof my bark is more like a muf muf sound. 
My pack lives in the forest we are called timber wolves but some other wolves who live in the frozen artic are known as tundra wolves, and some others are called artic wolves.
Although wolves may look similar to dogs we are not the same.  Once there were many more wolves than there are today.  We must all help protect the forest, mountains, and other areas in which all wildlife live.
